Hellabeem is located in the southwest of Sri Lanka in Ibbawala, Weligama. This is 150 km from the airport of the capital Colombo and not far from the city of Galle.
The founders of Hellabeem are not the first Dutch who have settled in and around Galle. The Dutch have expanded the fortifications of the city in the 17th century. The Galle Fort is the largest remaining fortress in Asia and is a world heritage site. Galle made its biggest developments during the Dutch colonial period in the 18th century. And now Hellabeem contributes in its own way to the development of youth in need.
