Foundation Hellabeem The Netherlands was first established in 2002, followed by appointment of its board. There is a distinction between the actual organization in Sri Lanka and the Board in The Netherlands, the former having only a fundraising role. The Board convenes annually to agree on that year’s budget for Hellabeem Sri Lanka. Two separate entities therefore have each their own task.
